Understand the current study workflow before committing a semester of notes.

Current access

The deployed app has no paid subscription checkout or published free-versus-paid plan ladder. Local speech avoids a transcription API charge, but AI note generation, tutoring, research and optional API transcription require the service’s configured AI credits. This is not a promise of unlimited free AI usage.

Lesson length

A lesson accepts up to 40,000 transcript characters. Recording is processed in segments; there is no published, independently tested guarantee for uninterrupted 55–90 minute lectures. Split long classes into named sessions and check the pending queue.

Files and processing

Optional private source storage permits 500 MB per account. Each PDF must be below 20 MB; selectable text is imported one page at a time. Study AI requests share a one-job lock and an hourly service limit. A busy or credit-limited service displays an error instead of pretending to finish.

Before a full lecture

Test your actual microphone, browser and room with a short sample. Confirm that the words arrive correctly, generated notes finish and your account syncs before relying on the workflow.
