Fix incorrect lecture transcription before making AI notes
Repair names, dates, math and missing words in the saved source first.
Low or missing sound
Check the selected system microphone, the input meter and browser permission. Move closer to the source when possible. Compare a short recording with what you actually heard; never assume a room sound system means your mic captured it.
Names and specialized terms
Pause capture, compare unfamiliar terms with your instructor’s slides or reading, then edit the transcript. Regenerate notes after source edits and recheck receipts, because earlier quotes may no longer match.
Math and science
Speech can confuse powers, negatives, fractions, units and symbols. Type ambiguous notation explicitly, including parentheses. A plausible AI explanation cannot repair an incorrectly captured equation with certainty.
Missing speech
Use the pending-segment retry while the capture tab remains open. If no words or audio were saved, ask for the original class material; a summary cannot reconstruct a missing quotation.
