LoreDrop.

LoreDrop on Chromebook, Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android

LoreDrop is a browser application. Capture support depends on browser permissions, device resources and the selected speech mode.

Browser access versus verified capture

A device loading the website does not establish reliable microphone capture on that device. No complete device-by-browser classroom benchmark is currently published. LoreDrop does not claim native iOS or Android apps.

Chromebook, Windows and Mac

Open the HTTPS site in an updated browser. Allow microphone access, load the local speech engine and test a sample. Managed school devices can restrict microphones, model downloads or website access. Paste text if your browser cannot capture speech.

iPhone and Android

Use the browser while the page remains open. Mobile power management and background tab suspension can interrupt capture; do not assume recording continues with a locked screen. Check the local engine before class, or use the optional API mode if it suits your needs.

Offline and weak Wi-Fi

Local transcription runs on-device after its model is available, but note generation, tutoring, web research and cloud synchronization need a working connection. LoreDrop is not a fully offline study app.
